Guidance

Guidance

I offer supervision with a system theoretical focus. I mainly supervise in psychosocial work and in family therapy and family treatment.

I supervise groups and individuals who work with families in different ways, in schools, social services or in different organizations. I can help you see why children, adults and families act the way they do, and what you can do to meet the needs of children, parents and families.

I also provide supervision to groups in other professional fields interested in a systems theory and neurobiological approach.

When working with groups, there are often three questions we need to look at: “What is happening to me? What is happening to us as a group? What happens to the people we work with?” By looking at all these questions, the group can become clearer in its function and its way of working.

I also mentor family homes, helping them to find ways to offer their children a secure attachment, and to understand children and their needs.

The work of counseling is done together through exploratory conversations, but also through various activities that help us gain new perspectives. Through the activities we also bring new joy and power into stuck situations, which gives new visions and new hope. I am also keen to broaden the participants’ theoretical base, and weave in the theory that the group wishes to immerse itself in.

Group enjoyment

I would be happy to come to your group and work with you for a few hours, a day, or a few days. Even in groups we need to experience safety and joy. Together we can look at the obstacles that stand in the way of you becoming the group you want to be. These obstacles are often fears, and lies we believe about ourselves and each other. We can look at how your personalities and past experiences affect how you function as a group. And we can look at what conflicts arise, how you can work through them, and what conflicts you might have to learn to live with.
